Small Group Training

What is Small Group Training (SGT)?

SGT is limited to no more than 8 people with 1 Coach. SGT is designed to provide more individualized instruction for each member. Your Coach will customize the workouts based on your fitness level, exercise experience and goals.  Programs may include an assessment. They are crafted to help you progress safely toward your fitness goals. You will also learn proper form in order to build strength & endurance and increase mobility and flexibility safely. You can expect to receive more individualized attention while experiencing motivating & inspiring support from your group and coach.

Registration: Registration for Training sessions are limited to Foothills Area YMCA members.

Please review the Small Group Training Member Agreement before completing your program registration.

 


DPP Alumni Wellness Group with Jessica

The DPP Alumni Wellness Group is a six-month continuation program for graduates of the Diabetes Prevention Program. Led by Jessica, the group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 12pm to continue building on the healthy habits and knowledge gained during DPP.

Participants will explore ongoing health and wellness topics, receive accountability and support for their personal goals, complete monthly weigh-ins, and stay connected in a supportive, encouraging community focused on long-term success.

Session: Fundamental Free Weights- Mon/Fri @10am with Christian

A small-group focused on building total body strength with classic Barbell movements. You will be guided through lifts like the bench, squat, overhead press, bent-over row, deadlift etc., as well as useful accessory movements using dumbbells and kettlebells.
